When you think Lizzie Rovsek you can’t help but think of her killer curves. The former RHOC beauty is known for her bikini bod and stunning features so naturally she knows how to design the perfect swimsuit. AllAboutTRHexclusively spoke with the brunette beauty on teaming up with Emily Simpson, fashion and of course this season of the OC. Check out our interview below then tell us what you think:
We loved seeing you team up with Emily Simpson on a swimsuit made for curves! How did this collaboration come about and how did you decide on the design?
Lizzie Rovsek: Emily is a very dear friend of mine and has become well known for her beautiful curves. It’s also been a long time question from my customers, ‘when are you going to design suits for real women?’ Emily suffered some backlash and body shaming about her figure and of course she stood up for herself and became a woman of major influence stating that women should not be criticized for how they look. We just decided to create a suit for women with curves. Emily sketched a swimsuit and brought it to me and I took her to my pattern making team and we created the new and improved one-piece, ’The Housewife’. The suit fits women size 4-22 and bust size 34-50.
